An IFB Initiative

The PGI is managed by the Institute of Forest Biotechnology. The U.S. Forest Service (USFS) sponsors this initiative and co-chairs the Implementation Committee. The Forest Service and other agencies support the PGI through competitive grants to researchers. Learn more about conifer genomic research supported by grants from the USFS, DOE, JGI, CSREES, and NSF.
